This Windows 7 RM OEM ISO is a non-brand specific image released to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and system builders, which in turn distribute and support the Windows 7 OEM disc to end-users.
This OEM version of Windows 7 RM ISO is not to be confused with brand-specific Windows 7 recovery disc or image that distributed by major PC vendors, which make use of OEM-specific digitally signed certificate (.xrm-ms) that matching with BIOS ACPI_SLIC table and OEM royalty SLP (System-Locked Preinstallation) product key for instant offline SLP self-activation. Instead, Windows 7 RM OEM DVD disc ISO requires OEM NONSLP product keys to activate online or by phone, exactly similar with a retail product key, which distributed and supported directly by Microsoft, or OEM COA serial numbers pasted on sticker of new PC. The non OEM SLP key, from product key group ID 182, is similar with retail or upgrade product keys, it can be used only on one computer.

- Burn with Nero to DVD
- Once complete..
- Insert into DVD Drive
- Select the DVD Drive as the “First Boot Device” via your computer’s BIOS
- If you did it correctly.. your PC will say “Press any button to boot from DVD”
- Continue with installation ..
- The rest is self-explanatory as all you have to do is read the screen ..
- LEAVE THE SERIAL BLANK
- After installation.. open up the “ACTIVATOR” Folder and read the “INTRUCTIONS” Provided.

HERE’S A TRICK HOW TO DO AN “UPGRADE” FROM A “PRE-RELEASE” .. INCASE YOU DON’T WANT TO DO A FULL INSTALL ..

Windows 7 checks whether or not the current version you are running is a pre-release copy, and prevents you from upgrading further
The Solution
The solution is to edit a file inside the Windows 7 DVD. To do this you will have to extract the ISO image using winrar, 7-zip, or a similar program, exactly the same way you would with a rar archive.
Once youÂ’ve extracted the files, browse into the “sources” folder to find the file named “cversion.ini”
In this file youÂ’ll see a line as follows – “MinClient=7233.0″. This is the minimum build number of windows from which you can upgrade. Since Windows 7 Release candidate is build 7100, the installer will deny you the ability to upgrade. Changing this value to anything lower than 7100.0 will fix the problem, in my case I changed the line to “MinClient=7000.0″
Having made this change and saved the file, you can open setup.exe (one of the files you extracted) and run the upgrade process directly from there. I hope this information is helpful
